New EcoLine appliances with greater efficiency and savings
As the company states, thanks to its scientific approach and the Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) carried out, 85% of the global climate impact of an appliance, during its useful life, is generated when it is in use. That is why, to help reduce this impact, the company is launching its EcoLine series of appliances, meeting the company’s energy labeling requirements while delivering performance to match.
Among its EcoLine range we find washing machines with an energy rating higher than the best A rating on the market, according to the company. It has the AutoDose and UltraWash functions, which allow use less detergent and clean at 30ºC saving 30% energy (compared to your cotton program at 40ºC).
The firm also has in this new range washing machines with ProStream technology, with a steam cycle that manages to refresh clothes in just 25 minutes, according to AEG. The program allows you to use up to 96% less water according to their tests carried out with 1kg of clothes and comparing between the SteamRefresh program and their Delicate program. This program also allows you to neutralize odors and reduce wrinkles in garments, minimizing the need to iron, according to AEG.
Another of the products within its EcoLine range are its dryers, which offer heat pump technology and can save up to 68% more energy than a traditional dryer. This calculation has been obtained by comparing AEG’s 8kg heat pump dryer (Class A+++, old labeling) with an 8kg Condensing dryer (Class B, old labelling).
On the other hand, there are its EcoLine ovens, which according to the company can preserve the minerals and vitamins of the food while consume up to 20% less energy when steaming (comparison between a multifunction oven and a SteamPro oven). Along with this, its steam cleaning function saves up to 95% energy compared to pyrolytic cleaning, according to the company.
