The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes back to life: it already moves Android 12 thanks to LineageOS 19
Blessed custom ROMs. In my particular case, I am one of the users who continues to install them today, so I can't stop celebrating every time an old phone comes back to life thanks to a ROM . This is the case of the mythical Samsung Galaxy S4, one of Samsung's most iconic phones and which already runs Android 12 thanks to LineageOS.
After bringing the Samsung Galaxy S2 back to life with Android 11 , the developers have given a second chance to the S4, which now has the unofficial version of LineageOS 19 available, the latest version based on the cleanest system, Android 12 .
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is reborn with Android 12
LineageOS 19 is the latest version of the popular ROM, formerly known as CyanogenMOD. The developer Side, a member of XDA Developers, has created a working ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S4, based on the latest version of LineageOS.
It promises that WiFi, phone connectivity, charging port, SIM card and calls, microphones and more work, although the camera can be somewhat unstable and Bluetooth is not fully functional . It is something completely normal in a Custom ROM, and it is that Android 12 is being brought to a mobile that was born in 2013.
Years and years later, Samsung's Galaxy S4 can enjoy the latest version of Android thanks to ROM cooks
Almost 10 years later, we can dust off that S4 we had in the drawer and install the latest version of LineageOS to mess around . As always, it will be necessary to have an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery, such as TWRP.
LineageOS 19 comes with the main new features of Android 12, such as dynamic themes, new image formats, Material You and the improvements in the privacy panel enjoyed by the latest Pixels.

I have changed my mobile six times in ten years and I still have the same icons in the same place
Android has changed a lot since its inception, but looking back, what hasn’t changed much is the home screen of my mobile, which has the icons in the same places for a decade. It seems like an eccentricity of someone with too much free time, but everything makes sense. So so.
My first Android phone was a Sony Xperia Mini Pro, a miniature even for its time, with a 3-inch screen. It has little or nothing to do with the OnePlus 9R that I have now and its 6.55-inch screen, and yet the essence is basically the samebecause?
