Instagram is adding a new function to the notes option, a feature that the social network launched a few months ago and that, among other things, offers the possibility of selecting a song so that your friends or followers can listen to a fragment of it. The platform now allows users to post video notes. That’s how they work.
With this new feature, users can record a video of about five seconds in length that, when published, will replace the profile picture that appears in the notes section from Instagram. His followers, therefore, will see that small clip instead of the profile image. The option can also be complemented with text or song. That is, a person can record a video note and, at the same time, write something or introduce a song. Or, if you prefer, just publish the video note.
Just like Instagram notes, video notes are ephemeral, and They will only be available for 24 hourss. Afterwards, they will disappear completely.
How to make video notes on Instagram
To post a video note, you just need to access the Instagram application and go to the direct messages section.
Next, just click on your profile image and then on the camera icon that appears on the screen. The social network, however, only allows recording with the front camera; there is no way to use the main camera or zoom.
