Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor: 6K on 32 inches with IPS Black and TB4 with 140 watts

With the UltraSharp 32 6K (U3224KB), Dell is launching the first 6K monitor with IPS Black, which is said to deliver up to 1.4 times the contrast and up to 41 percent deeper black levels. The color accuracy should also benefit in comparison to conventional IPS displays, especially in the dark gray tones.

6,144 × 3,456 pixels

The resolution of the 32-inch display is 6,144 × 3,456 pixels, which results in a high pixel density of 223 ppi. The DCI-P3 color space should be covered by 99 percent and sRGB by 100 percent. The 6K display of the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K is also certified according to DisplayHDR 600, so it achieves a minimum brightness of 600 cd/m². Dell specifies the contrast as up to 2,000:1, which is well above the typical 1,000:1 of IPS monitors.

Mini DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 with 140 watts

In addition to Mini-DisplayPort 2.1, the monitor also offers Thunderbolt 4 as interfaces, via which connected notebooks can be charged with up to 140 watts. The monitor also features a built-in RJ45 network port, allowing a connected device to be networked. If desired, two computers can also be connected and used picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture via the integrated KVM switch. In addition, the display offers an HDMI 2.1 port and four USB-A ports on the back.

In order to have easy access to the connections from the front, two USB-C and one USB-A connection can be folded out of the frame. Devices can be charged with 15 watts via the two USB-C ports, all three ports are up to 10 Gbit/s fast.

The display can be tilted from -5 to 21 degrees, rotated by 30 degrees to the right and left and adjusted by 160 mm in height. Pivot is also supported by the stand so that the monitor can be used upright.

Webcam, microphone and speakers

As a work monitor, the UltraSharp 32 6K also offers a 4K HDR webcam (4K30 and FHD60) for video conferences, which is said to deliver good images even in poor lighting conditions. Titbit raises 150,000 euros in its second investment round

On this occasion, Titbit has given entry to reference investors in the world of advertising, and among them stands out one of the leaders in the sector, Juan Manuel de la Nuez, a professional with extensive experience and former CEO of the Wunderman Thompson agency. “In my professional career, I have met clients many times to whom the issue of content production for external communication or even internally, it was a real headache for them, since the agencies could not respond competitively in time or cost, and neither could the production companies. For this reason, when I got to know Titbit, I understood that it is a solution that responds to these headaches and therefore represents a clear potential for growth and investment.”.

With this round, Titbit aims to increase its national expansion, both commercially and in product development. The startup’s headquarters are located in Barcelona and also has an office in Madrid. “We want to create a commercial network that allows us to help other countries to achieve more agile and economical productions, since we have confirmed that the creation of digital content suffers the same problems outside our borders”. In addition, the celebration of the third anniversary of the startup coincides with a change of corporate image and the launch of the new website, which is in line with continuing to innovate in the sector, reflecting the value of its disruptive proposal.

Regarding the evolution of the project in the short and medium term, at a time of economic uncertainty like the current one, companies apply budget cuts in marketing and advertising, but even so they need to communicate more than ever, since they must compensate for the loss of sales caused by the crisis. “Many brands are looking for a new way to produce their content for digital channels, and this is where Titbit’s proposal becomes more relevant than ever”, explains Arnau Seix, who also sees international markets as an interesting option to continue growing.
